Watch your tongue…

More often with family and friends, we talk sensible and non-sensible utterances. At our comfort zone speech regulation is at the minimal. Those are the times one should limit speeches that are bond to bind them. They are the *diseases of the tongue*.

Just as the bible recons the tongue is the smallest of all body parts but the most dangerous. Remember from our mouth comes our uttermost feeling Matthew 15:18 But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man ‘unclean.’ To some what you speak reflects who you are. I have been in those situations when words just flew *boom* next was Oh! My God ‘me n’ my big mouth’ mmmhh! Bet you’ve been there too? James 3:6 The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

If you have to avoid slander do this personal check, on you and your buddies:

Excessive talking- more often those people who talk too much are prone to either tell loads of lies or exaggerate some minute situation. Attention seekers fall here; they always want to be heard for the sake of it.

Idle words- speaking for the sake of just ‘speaking’ be weary. Idle words are costly and even embarrassing, have you ever been asked “who asked for your opinion?” silence speaks loudest so dear where your opinion doesn’t count just shut up. Save your breath for another time. Matthew 12:36 But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.

PURSUIT OF LIFE

In the pursuit of life,
In the race and the strife,
We hope for the best,
Even when we see the worst,
We pursue dreams and visions,
Even when others are imaginary missions,
I can say yesterday I failed,
But I can also say today I conceded,
I see them cry for the rain,
Yet we see them devastated by the rain,
Since when did problems become solutions?

BEING MOULDED AS A TRUE BELIEVER.

Life takes different perspectives, depending on how one was brought up. So many times we hear people say “I don’t blame him; I question his up-bringing. “  Now, that is not a compliment!

How we adopt to different environments is nurtured but how we relate to them is in-breed.  Childhood development determines future peculiarities.

Last weekend I attended an authoritative Christian conference. Oh! My! Those were not just ministers but servants of God with an overwhelming anointing. Let as check how God mould us Christians in likely-hood of our daily activities.

A Christian is like wheat. We grow with lots of tares around us, while wheat matures and dries tares remain green hence easy to separate. When growing up in salvation some Christians are set apart while others just survive.

Drying of wheat symbolizes the time to shed off husks. These husks may be our friends or peculiar traits that are not Christ like. We then go through a crushing period in our lives. This may be the moment’s you feel so walked all over but you just hold on.

Such situations refine us. That reminds me of Zechariah 13:9 I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure. I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold. They will call on my name, and I will...

Stand your ground

Every person acquires a system of beliefs, based on teachings and lessons learned from parents, teachers, family or friends. Belief systems govern thoughts, words and actions.

In our Christian Faith, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego Stood their Ground even when death was glaring at them at the end their faith not only saved them but also made them revered. When a person chooses to become a Christian, he has to stand for his salvation and the word of God.

A stand-your-ground law states that a person may use force in self-defense when there is reasonable belief of a threat, without an obligation to retreat first. Standing your ground therefore is not only A Believe but also A Law.

In life there are times that I have not had it all sweet. Moments when retreat was the best solution but   Focus  kept me going. I owe it all to God he has always held me even when I fell. That‘s why I say I am justified by the blood of Jesus Christ.

I usually look at those people who conform to systems that are beneficial to them but contrary to their own belief and even society. They will justify the means to suit the end. Standing your ground however is representing that which is right and morally acceptable.

Never carry that burden of wanting to please others. Make your own rules and abide by them. Only The Ten...
